I do not think I will ever stay in another place like this again in my life. Fundu Lagoon blew us away from the moment we turned the corner on the boat and saw the beautifully clear blue sea shining back at us and a swarm of mangroves waving at us. I honestly could have cried at seeing something so beautiful in real life. Our stay was absolutely incredible. The General manager, Hannes, was amazing and upgraded us to the Superior Suite for our Honeymoon. The Superior Suite was awesome and we felt very lucky to be upgraded. The staff were incredibly professional and they always went above & beyond to ensure the best service and that we had we needed. On to the food & drink – WOW! Honestly the food was delicious and so fresh, with the quality being 5* – thank you to chef and the team for providing varied meals for the 9 nights we were there and for putting on a fantastic beach BBQ, as well as a private dinner for my husband & I. We did a couple of day trips including snorkeling to Misali Island & Dolphin Watching. Both trips are highly recommended and were real highlights of our stay. I can’t vouch for this place enough, it truly is like being in Paradise, with beautiful beaches, impeccable service & fantastic facilities (such as the pool & the bars). If you are deciding on whether to visit Fundu Lagoon, I honestly would recommend as you will not be disappointed, (until you have to leave)! – Hayley Harrison
