We had a great stay at Kololo game reserve. We visited Kololo with our 3 kids (4, 2 and 0 y/o) and the manager Tanya and the staff did everything to make our stay as great as possible. The accomodation was clean and big including a kitchen and living room. We did 2 game drives and Kololo arranged a babysitter for our baby so we could do the game drive as relaxed as possible with the 2 other kids. During the game drive we saw lions, zebras, rhinos, elephants and hippo’s and if you are doing a game drive with small kids they can adjust the safari (departure time / appropriate distance if you spot animals) to create the best experience for your family. Also the food and service is great. The loved the staff and the kids menu. They even have a big basket with toys in the restaurant and one of the staff even walked around with the baby so I could finish my coffee during breakfast. Also the pool and playground are fantastic. Big 5 Safari

With an open safari vehicle (with roof) you enter the reserve with the driver who is also your ranger and guide. They tell you all about the Welgevonden reserve, the animals, trees, plants and other interesting facts.

Kololo Kids Safari

Together with the real ranger they go on a safari expedition in one of our safari game viewers to learn everything about the bush, animals, birds and reptiles.

Bush Breakfast/Braai

On foot or by car you are taken to a specially selected, idyllic place in the bush where everything is prepared for a sumptuous breakfast or braai.

Kololo Game Drive

In an open safari vehicle (with roof) and accompanied by one of our rangers you discover Kololo Game Reserve in all its beauty.
